Let me tell you something about this drink. It’s a perfectly fabulous, absolutely stunning and delectably refreshing end-of-summer-time spritzer.

In an attempt to juice all the way through our move, the juicer made it’s way to our hotel with a bundle of fresh fruits. Apples, strawberries, peaches made the passage through the juicer only to emerge transformed from a solid object to liquid gold. Create any combo of the three, or keep it simple with just one and you’ll have the fruity foundation for this drink.

Reason #1378738 why this drink is so amazing, you can’t taste ANY alcohol. Amazing and dangerous, be sure to max it out at two of these bad boys, it’s easy to down four and before you know it you’ll remember it was actually spiked juice and need to sit down.

Few ingredients make these a breeze to make, but unfortunately you’ll need a juicer. I got my first one at Target for $30, but if all you have is a blender at home, go for it, maybe try straining the fruit puree to get a silkier texture.

Either way these MUST be made this weekend to make summer complete.

Be sure to take pictures with bushes in the background. Makes them sooo much better.

Three day weekend here we come!

freshly juiced spritzers

makes 2-3

2 apples, or 15-20 strawberries, or 2 peaches

3-4 ounces vodka

club soda

First juice your fruit, I think it’s fun to keep them separated so you can make fun combos later, or just make it easy and stick to one fruit. Then just assemble, to make each drink, fill a cup with ice, add 1 – 1 1/2 ounces vodka, 1 – 1 1/2 ounces fruit juice and top it off with club soda. Freshly squeezed lime always adds a nice touch.

Enjoy responsibly!
